About these terms
By using this website or confirming a project with us, you agree to these terms. If a signed quotation, work order or agreement for your project says something different, that document takes priority for your project.
Website information
Photographs, design ideas, guides and the interactive 3D rooms on this website are for inspiration and general guidance. The 3D rooms are illustrative models, not drawings of any specific home. Colours and finishes can look different on a screen from the actual material.
The price calculator gives an indicative starting range only. It is not a quotation. Your price is confirmed only in a written estimate prepared after we understand your site and scope.
Consultation, design and approvals
- A consultation or site visit does not oblige you to place an order.
- Layouts and 3D designs are prepared from site measurements and the brief you give us. Please check them carefully before approving.
- Production and site work begin after you approve the design, materials and written estimate, and after the agreed advance payment is received.
- Changes requested after approval may change the price and the timeline. We will confirm the effect in writing before going ahead.
Estimates, pricing and offers
Your written estimate lists the scope, materials, quantities and price for your project. Anything not listed in it is outside the scope. Taxes are charged as applicable under law.
Festival and promotional offers apply only for the period and on the conditions stated with the offer, and must be recorded in your written estimate to apply to your project. Offers cannot be combined unless we confirm it in writing.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information about the site and let us know about anything that may affect the work, such as dampness, concealed pipes or wiring, or structural restrictions.
- Arrange access to the site, electricity and water during working hours, and any permission needed from your housing society, builder or landlord.
- Keep valuables and fragile items safe or out of the work area.
- Make payments on the dates agreed in your estimate.
Timelines
Timelines are given in good faith and depend on timely approvals, payments, site readiness and material availability. We will tell you promptly if a date is likely to change. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as society restrictions, material supply disruption, strikes, severe weather or government orders.
Materials, workmanship and warranty
We use the materials and brands specified in your written estimate. Natural materials such as wood veneer and stone vary in grain and shade, and this variation is not a defect.
Branded hardware, appliances and materials carry the warranty given by their manufacturer. Any warranty on workmanship is as stated in your written estimate or handover documents. Warranty does not cover normal wear, misuse, water seepage from the building, pest damage or alterations made by others.
Payments, EMI, cancellation and refunds
Payment methods and loan or EMI options are explained in our Payment, EMI & Loan Terms. Cancellations and refunds are explained in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Both form part of these terms.
Intellectual property
Designs, drawings, 3D views and website content prepared by Niwas Interior remain our property until the project they were prepared for is confirmed and paid for. Please do not copy them or pass them to others to execute without our written consent.
With your permission, we may photograph completed work and use the images in our portfolio. We will not publish your name or address without your consent.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, our liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you have paid us for that project, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please raise any concern with our studio first so that we can try to resolve it. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Patna, Bihar.
